Greenline Extension Field Work Update

Although there is nothing happening in Ward 5, I thought I would keep you up to speed on the field work being conducted for the greenline extension. I have emailed Kate Fichter regarding Lowell Street and will update the website accordingly.

Boring Program:

Weeks ending 3/26/10 and 4/2/10 - Borings within the MBTA right-of-way from the Lechmere Station parking lot (East Street) in Cambridge to the area of the MBTA Red Bridge just north of the Somerville city limits
Boring typically occurs between 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM on weekdays.

Field Survey:

Weeks ending 3/26/10 and 4/2/10:

North of College Avenue in Medford within the MBTA right-of-way
Intersection of First Street and Cambridge Street in Cambridge
Intersection of Second Street and O'Brien Highway in Cambridge
Intersection of Third Street and O'Brien Highway in Cambridge
Utility survey within the MBTA right-of-way in Cambridge
