March 28th: kickoff celebration of Somerville's new "one city, one book" campaign!

The kickoff celebration of Somerville's new "one city, one book" campaign will start at the Arts at the Armory on Highland Avenue! Somerville Reads is an extraordinary opportunity for people all over the city to read and discuss the same book. This month's selection is The Things They Carried by Tim O'Brien, a collection of stories about American soldiers during and after the Vietnam War.

The Band That Time Forgot will perform Vietnam War era music.
Refreshments will be served.
The event is free and open to the public!
