The New Chapter For Arts At The Armory!

Arts at the Armory has submitted an application to secure a permanent beer and wine license that will be discussed at the next Licensing Commission hearing scheduled for April 26th.

They write, "After nearly a year of sponsoring over 80 arts, cultural and community events in Somerville, Arts at the Armory is embarking on a new chapter - to secure our permanent beer and wine license! This is a really exciting development for us and your support is needed to help our application get approved."

The Ways You Can Help This Cause Are...

1. Come to the hearing. If you live in Somerville or have either organized or attended one of our many arts, cultural and community events here in the past year, please come and offer a few brief words of support at the hearing. Your physical presence means the most.

2. Write a letter and mail it by Friday, April 23rd. We know that e-mail is easier, but physical letters of support mean a lot too. Please address it to:
Andrew Upton, Chair
Somerville Licensing Commission
Somerville City Hall
93 Highland Avenue
Somerville, MA 02143

3. Write an e-mail by Friday, April 23rd. In the subject line, please say "In Support of Arts at the Armory's Beer and Wine License Application".
Please address it to:
Andrew Upton, Chair
Somerville Licensing Commission
Somerville City Hall
93 Highland Avenue
Somerville, MA 02143
but send it to:
Jenneen Pagliaro at: JPAGLIARO@somervillema.gov
and copy us at: info@artsatthearmory.org

Also, please sign their online petition to show your support of their application being approved!

Please do the above actions if you oppose the transfer of this license. Everyone has a right to be heard!
