Update: Arts At The Armory Ramp Found To Be Unsafe. Ward 6 Alderman Takes Notice.

An order on the agenda for tonight's Board of Alderman meeting compliments a post on Ward 5 Online, further showing that Alderman Rebekah Gewirtz is truly tapped into the pulse of what's going on in the city!

A ramp safety issue at the Armory building on Highland Avenue, as well as other concerns, has prompted Rebekah to put in order #28 stating: The Director of SPCD appear before the Committee on Housing and Community Development to discuss the formal complaint filed by the Director of the Community Access and Inclusion Project on behalf of the city’s disabled residents with respect to ADA accessibility considerations in the One Year Action Plan.

More updates on this issue will be included on the website as this order passes through the BOA and is included on an upcoming agenda for Rebekah's Committee on Housing and Community Development.
