SomeSense Ordinances Featured In Both Agendas For Tonight's Two Land Use Committee Meetings

•An ordinance amending the Somerville Zoning Ordinance to modify the parking requirements in Article 9 for the Large Retail and Service Cluster in the Corridor Commercial Districts (CCD) and Transit Oriented District (TOD)
•189093: Ten registered voters/Somerville Residents for Sensible Development requesting approval of an amendment to the zoning ordinances to require the submission of a pro forma financial analysis to the Special Permit Granting Authority.
•189094: Ten registered voters/Somerville Residents for Sensible Development requesting approval of an amendment to the zoning ordinances to prohibit certain residential uses within 150 feet of an active railroad right-of-way grade crossing.
•189095: Ten registered voters/Somerville Residents for Sensible Development requesting approval of an amendment to the zoning ordinances to prohibit the use of tandem parking for any off-street parking plan.
•Ordinance Amending the Somerville Zoning Ordinance to modify the Floodplain Overlay District in Article 6 “Establishment of Zoning Districts” to Comply with 44 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Section 60.3(d) of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) regulations.

•188681 - Ten registered voters request approval of an amendment to the zoning ordinances to vest the authority to grant special permits or special permits with site plan review in the Board of Aldermen.
•188682 - Ten registered voters requesting approval of an amendment to the zoning ordinances to rezone to RB certain parcels near Park St. in Ward 2 currently zoned RC.
•188683 - Ten registered voters requesting approval of an amendment to the zoning ordinances to require water and sewer and traffic studies for certain development projects.
•188684 - Ten registered voters requesting approval of an amendment to the zoning ordinances to suspend the SPGA's authority to grant density bonus special permits for one year or until an independent report is prepared on the impact of the permits.
•188685 - Ten registered voters requesting approval of an amendment to the zoning ordinances requiring disclosure of every person holding an interest in a special permit or variance application.
