Ward 5 Alderman, Sean O'Donovan, is fed up with the power outages in the city and is talking lawsuit if NStar doesn't step up and fix the problem. In the past year, many residents and businesses have endured power outages that have, not only been an inconvenience, but have cost them money and threatened their health. Sean, himself, gave two examples last night: 1.) Power goes out in Ball Square causing his law office to leave at noon. 2.) Power goes out in Ward 5 and a neighbor sat in Sean's truck, due to the heat and her existing breathing issues.
If you have experienced money/product loss or just want to vent about being late for work or losing that amazing blog you were writing because of power outages, please make it a point to attend tonight's meeting!
