Field Survey: Weeks ending 10/8/10 and 10/15/10

• Finish survey of drainage system inverts* within the Lowell Line Commuter Rail corridor
• Bridge survey within the Lowell Commuter Rail corridor at Cedar Street in Somerville

*Inverts are elevations of the interior bottom of the existing drain pipes measured at a drainage structure.

 

Boring Program: Weeks ending 10/8/10 and 10/15/10

• Borings within the MBTA Lowell Commuter Rail right-of-way at Medford Street in Somerville
• Borings within the MBTA Lowell Commuter Rail right-of-way from Harvard Street in Medford to Cross Street in Somerville
• Borings within the MBTA Fitchburg Commuter Rail right-of-way between McGrath Highway and the Boston Engine Terminal in Somerville
• Borings within the MBTA Lowell Commuter Rail right-of-way between Cedar Street and Washington Street in Somerville

Boring typically occurs between 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM on weekdays.
