Magoun Square Repaving Continues On Monday

Due to significant work to be performed on the Craigie Drawbridge on Land Boulevard in Cambridge, and anticipated traffic detours, construction projects scheduled throughout the City have been moved to begin immediately. The work will include milling and paving on main thoroughfares and several side streets, sidewalk work and pedestrian safety infrastructure improvements. Weather permitting, the following is a brief outlook of upcoming construction:

The Week of 11/1/10:
  • Magoun Square Broadway (CVS side) and Medford Street
  • Sidewalk replacement on School Street
  • Paving of Broadway (between School and Temple Street), School Street, Medford Street and Pearl Street
  • Finish sidewalk work in Union Square
  • Structure Adjustments and paving on Washington Street
