Hello Friends and Neighbors of Ward 5 and beyond!
My name is Jean Vallon and I'm a student in the Museum Studies Program at Harvard University Extension School. I am writing a thesis about the Somerville Museum as part of my requirements for a Masters in Liberal Arts degree, and I'm conducting an independent survey about the Museum as part of my research. If you are interested in filling out my survey, kindly send me an email, and I'll reply with some additional information and a link to the survey, which is on the 'survey monkey' website. Anyone is welcome to participate, or even to just read the survey to decide if you want to fill it out.
I have received some very useful responses so far! I am particularly looking for a few more folks who fall in the 49-and-under age demographic to balance out the span of ages surveyed so far, but all participants are welcome and appreciated! This is a chance for you to share your ideas and opinions, and tell of your experiences with the Museum, with the goal of helping to discover how the Museum can best serve the community!
