Union representatives and concerned citizens will get their chance to speak to the Legislative Matters Committee of the Whole regarding labor at the Max Pac site on February 17th, 2011 at 6pm. This will take place in the Aldermanic Chambers of City Hall located at 93 Highland Avenue on the second floor.
This public hearing was scheduled after over 50 residents signed a petition that was submitted at the January 13th, 2011 Board of Alderman meeting requesting a public hearing regarding labor concerns at the Max Pac site located on 56-61 Clyde Street. The public hearing was scheduled at the January 25th Legislative Matters Committee meeting that featured numerous members of the Board of Alderman, as well as, Union representatives.
