A Somerville man was charged with failing to register as a sex offender March 18.

Thomas Boisvert, 44, of 31 Wilton St., registered as a level three sex offender in January but moved without alerting officers, police said.

Boisvert also failed to notify police about his new job as he is required to do by law. Police said Boisvert previously failed to register as a sex offender in 2006.

He was arrested and charged with failure to register as a sex offender, subsequent offense.
