Pasquerello To Get New Vehicle

Finance Committee meeting
In a 4 (Connolly, Heuston, Taylor, White) to 1 (Gewirtz) vote last night, $26, 074 will be appropriated from the Capital Projects Stabilization Fund to purchase a vehicle for the Police Department-a vehicle that will be used, primarily, by the newly appointed Chief Pasquerello.

Item #190591 was approved with a condition that the car is to last for 5 years. This condition was implemented by Ward 3 Alderman/Vice President Tom Taylor who changed his vote last night in favor of the spending. At a previous Finance Committee meeting, Taylor supported Gewirtz in her denial of the money transfer that resulted in a 2 to 2 vote (Connolly, Heuston) that kept the item in committee.
