Monica Lamboy Bids OSPCD Farewell

Monica Lamboy has decided to give her notice and step down from her position as Executive Director of the Office of Strategic Planning and Community Development.

Serving since 2007, Lamboy was previously employed as the Deputy Director for Permits and Licensing in Washington’s Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs before taking the job in Somerville. Lamboy's resume also boasts senior positions with the cities of Oakland and Concord, California.

This is the latest in a long line of resignations at City Hall that also includes a Traffic and Parking Director, A Chief of Police, A Director of Communications, and a City Solicitor.

As well as a couple of Personnel Directors, most recently this past winter. It's a wonder no paper or blog has taken this up - why is everyone bailing on this administration in such a short period of time? I have my thoughts.
