ResiStat Planning Spring Meetings

Denise Taylor is certainly hitting the ground running in my favority City Hall Department, ResiStat, where she serves as ResiStat Coordinator taking the place of one of my favorite people, Daniel Hadley :)

A great program that the department does city-wide are the ResiStat meetings in each ward. These meetings consist of a slide-show presentation of data, as well as, an agenda compiled from completed surveys of resident concerns and interests. Each meeting is custom tailored to the ward and usually begins with a walking tour.

She writes, "Spring ResiStat Meeetings coming up: We're planning spring ResiStat meetings now, and I’ve been reviewing past surveys of general resident concerns as well as specific suggestions for ResiStat. Personally, I feel lucky that we live in City where it is a priority to share with residents the same detailed information used for decision-making by lawmakers. I will do my best to make sure that we have easy and convenient ways for you to access this information, respond to it, and get your opinions heard. In the mean time, feel free to let me know what you would most like to know more about or if you have any specific suggestions for ResiStat." Her email is dtaylor [at] somervillema.gov.

Although the meetings have not been formally scheduled yet, you can fill out the survey that Denise is referring to, so your concerns can be included in your ward's ResiStat meeting.

In the meantime, be sure to check out the page dedicated to Wards to read last year's meeting information and notes.
