YSAG To Meet With Board of Alderman on Wednesday!

The Young Somerville Advisory Group will be meeting with the Board of Alderman in one week to discuss all things Somerville from a younger point of view. If you plan on going or would like your concerns discussed, please take this short survey that will assist in the development of that night’s agenda.

Mayor Curtatone’s Young Somerville Advisory Group is comprised of 21 to 35 year old Somerville residents. The group’s goals are to increase the number of young residents engaged in our civic community, improve the quality of City services offered and increase communication between City government and people in this age group. The Group will accomplish set goals by advising the Mayor and City staff, initiating and organizing activities targeted to this demographic, and advocating on behalf of fellow Young Somerville residents.

Started in 2007, the Group is now in its third full membership term. Members serve 1-year terms, beginning in October. Members have met with representatives from the community and City Government.
