Attention: Business Owners!

The Somerville Community Corporation and Somerville Local First invite you to this free legal workshop, “Everything You Need to Know about Your Lease, ” on Thursday, May 12th, at 6:30.

You’ll have an opportunity to ask questions to real estate attorney Matt Lynch, from Nixon Peabody, who will also cover:


• What is your responsibility, and what is the responsibility of your landlord
• What you can negotiate to get in a lease
• Options for what to do if your landlord isn’t doing what they’re supposed to

Please bring a copy of your lease. There will be simultaneous interpretation into Spanish and Portuguese. Other languages available; please ask. There will be light refreshments.
