Budget Conversations Kick-off Tonight!

For students, June is the month when they say goodbye to their teachers and look forward to summer vacation! For the Board of Alderman, however, it means meetings full of intense conversations surrounding the city's budget for the following year.

This year's conversations start off with a Board of Alderman Special Meeting being held tonight in the Aldermanic Chambers of City Hall at 6pm. At the conclusion of this meeting, a Finance Committee meeting of the whole will commence in the same location discussing the FY2012 budget-the only item on the agenda.

Although the budget has not been published, portions of it can be found on the city's portal in the minute track for tonight's BOA special meeting.

Please note that meetings are also scheduled for the week of the 20th with a regularly scheduled Board of Alderman meeting being held on June 23rd at 7pm.
