Water Work Could Cause Rusting Tomorrow...

On Wednesday, August 3rd, the MWRA will be performing maintenance work throughout the City that may cause temporary discoloration in your water. Though the water is safe to drink and use for cooking, residents are advised to run the water until it is clear and avoid washing clothes, especially white fabrics.

If any rust stains appear on the wet laundry, the clothes should not be dried, and you should all 311 during normal business hours to receive a free bottle of rust remover. Thank you for your cooperation.
