The Board of Alderman will gather at 6:45pm on November 22nd in the committee room of City Hall to nominate and eventually vote for the 2012 President and Vice President of the Board.
Currently, Ward 6 Alderman Rebekah Gewirtz services as President with Ward 3 Alderman Tom Taylor serving as Vice President.
No word has been given as to whether Taylor will be a definite choice for President as he has been battling through a relapse of cancer for the past few months. Traditionally, the Vice President would step into the President's role as did Gewirtz after serving under Jack Connolly's Presidency.
Once voted, the results will be posted here on Ward 5 Online!
