Board of Alderman to Meet on Tuesday...

The Board of Alderman will hold their regularly scheduled meeting in the Aldermanic Chambers of City Hall on Tuesday December 20th at 7pm. This meeting was changed from Thursday and is open to the public. All residents/concerned citizens are encouraged to attend.

This marks the last meeting of the Board until January 2012 where Ward 3 Alderman Tom Taylor will take over the reigns as President with Alderman At Large Bill White serving as Vice President.

You can watch the meeting live on Channel 16 (Comcast) or Channel 13 (RCN). This meeting will be rebroadcast at various times throughout the week, as well as, streamed live on the internet. A video of the meeting is saved on the City's Meeting Portal under the Recent Media header.

The agenda for Tuesday is posted on the City's Meeting Portal per the Open Meeting Law.

The Board of Alderman have had an interesting year around the horseshoe, voting for a $27 million dollar bond for Assembly Square, approving to transfer over to the Group Insurance Commission, and being re-elected-with the exception of Ward 4 Alderman Walter Pero who did not run this year. Tony LaFuente will serve as Ward 4 Alderman starting in 2012.

Below, I have reposted the links to their attendance record for this year. Did your alderman serve you well? Comment your thoughts below!
