I have two exciting pieces of information that I think you will love! First, late last year, I was asked by the current Board of Directors for Somerville Local First if I was interested in joining to fill a liaison role between City Government and the Somerville Local First Community. After very little thought and consideration (really, none was needed), I accepted a position and have been a proud member ever since.
Second, I have partnered with the web designer, Truly Good Designs, of the Somerville Local First website and now have a feed that bridges the gap between local business owners and what his happening legislatively that could impact them! You can find this feed on the SLF website, as well as, other great information about this awesome organization!
