The Word Around The Ward

Interested in what's happening at 514 Medford Street? Come by Olde Magoun's Saloon tonight at 6pm to find out what is being proposed for this location.

Speaking of 514 Medford Street, one of the front windows was broken this week, but fixed just as quickly. If this is any indication of how this new property owner is going to take care of their business storefront, I'm interested!

Alderman At Large Dennis Sullivan had a great fundraiser last night at Olde Magoun's Saloon that included constituents and elected alike. Happy Saint Patrick's Day from Alderman Sullivan!

Friday night marks the second annual fundraiser for Alderman Sean O'Donovan at the Armory (191 Highland Avenue) from 7-11pm. There is a $20 donation and it features live music!

Best wishes to Alderman At Large Bill White who was recently put it a cast following an injury to his elbow. Alderman White is a Magoun Square business owner (law practice) and recently assisted in the increased enforcement of unleashed dogs on the Community Path. I wish him a speedy recovery!

There will be a meeting on March 21st about the College Avenue & Ball Square Green Line Stations that will be held in the City Council Chambers of Medford City Hall (85 George P. Hassett Drive) from 6-8pm.

The Deeds race is moving along with both women hitting the streets and events, but not so much on the internet. Both have Twitter and Facebook accounts, but no content on their websites. Hmmm...
