The striping of Magoun Square will take place this evening from 9pm to 5am on Broadway and Medford Streets. This is one of the final steps in the conclusion of a two year improvement initiative funded by Federal Recovery Act stimulus money.
The email reads, "Weather permitting on Tuesday, August 14th and Wednesday, August 15th a City contractor will be installing pavement markings on Broadway and Medford Street. Work will be conducted overnight between the hours of 9:00 pm – 5:00 am.
Throughout this period, Somerville Police officers will be stationed in the area to assist with traffic flow. Please obey “no parking” signs, and flashing message boards. If you have additional questions, please call 311. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this important community improvement program."
