A second human case of West Nile Virus has been confirmed in Middlesex County, prompting an increase in the threat level for Somerville.
The Center for Disease Control and prevention has some great tips on protecting yourself and keeping mosquitos away which include eliminating standing water and repairing screens and car windows.
