Food Trucks Roll Onto Monday's Legislative Matters Agenda
One of the summer's hottest topics will be discussed on Monday night as the Legislative Matters Committee takes up all things Food Trucks at their 6pm meeting of the whole.
Previous meetings and one public hearing on the issue brought out numerous concerns and suggestions to incorporate food trucks into Somerville that serve the residents while not negatively impacting local brick and mortar restaurants. Most members of the Board of Aldermen are open to a pilot program with Ward 1 Alderman Bill Roche being the only strong opposition to their presence all-together.
The meeting starts at 6pm and will be held in the Aldermanic Chambers of City Hall. It is a committee meeting of the whole and is not designated as a public hearing.
