On October 23rd, a presentation by students of the MIT Department of Urban Studies and Planning was made showcasing preliminary studies and recommendations to improve the economic conditions of the Winter Hill and Magoun Square business districts with a focus on pedestrian-friendliness and zoning changes. I detailed the happenings of this meeting in a blog post on October 24th.
This presentation has been published to the Somerville by Design website as promised and a follow-up meeting has been set for December 6th at 6:30pm in the Winter Hill Community School.
