The Legislative Matters Committee meeting will be holding what is, most likely, it's last meeting of 2012 as the Board of Aldermen begin to wrap-up their meeting schedule and Chairperson/Ward 6 Alderman Rebekah Gewirtz prepares for a 9 day trip to Israel with other elected officials.
Tonight's agenda will be closing out some previously submitted items, as well as, dealing with important current issues such as forcing transparency on locally-operated non-profit organizations and how the city can regulate marijuana distribution sites given the recent law change.
The meeting starts at 6pm and will be held in the second floor committee room of City Hall.
