Legislative Matters Hosts Public Hearing on Banning Styrofoam Takeout Food Containers
The Legislative Matters Committee, chaired by Ward 6 Alderwoman Rebekah Gewirtz, will be hosting a public hearing to discuss a possible ban of styrofoam takeout food containers. Brookline already has a ban in place.
This public hearing will take place in the Aldermanic Chambers of City Hall at 6pm on Wednesday February 27th. The agenda also includes a discussion on street performers, as well.
The rest of the committee consists of Aldermen at Large Bruce Desmond, Jack Connolly, Bill White and Ward 3 Alderman Tom Taylor.
