"The hyperlocal approach is the brainchild of owner Michael Dulock, a natural-products champion who wants to change the way we think about and use our food supply." ~Emily T. Simon from Somerville butcher that goes whole hog

M.F. Dulock, craft butcher located at 201a Highland Avenue, was featured in a Boston.Com article that highlighted his dedication to using only local products in his shop, as well as, the author's experience cooking the offerings at Mike's shop (I like this girl already)!

Since opening in September, Dulock has already made his presence known to Ward 5ers when he participated in a recent pop up with Daddy Jones Bar and Staff Meal Truck. The tasting featured Staff Meal Truck cooking a whole pig provided by Dulock in the Daddy Jones kitchen.

M.F. Dulock is open Tuesday-Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
