The wait is dwindling down as the Modelo Butcher Market now has staked its claim in Magoun Square.
This is an extension of the popular bakery and lunch spot of the same name across the street. There is also an Everett location, as well.
The market will feature fruits, vegetables, and meats. No official grand opening has been announced.

Saw this sign the other day. Fingers crossed for actual FRESH fruit & veggies.
That, combined with craft beers at K2, food & drink at Magoun Saloon, Daddy Jones, Pini's & Wang's, and Magoun businesses would basically be receiving >90% of my spending (instead of leaving the neighborhood to shop).
