Add this to the mix...
Katjana Ballantyne announced today via Facebook that she will take another shot at the Ward 7 alderman seat held by Bob Trane. Trane defeated Ballantyne in 2011.
This announcement comes amid speculation that the Ward 7 incumbant would be stepping down from his seat to take a job in the private sector. No confirmation has been made by Trane regarding that rumor.
Ballantyne joins fellow Progressive Democrat Mark Niedergang-who announced, in August, he would running against incumbant Sean O'Donovan for the Ward 5 seat.
