Alderman At Large Bruce Desmond, Ward 5 Alderman Sean O'Donovan, Mayor Joe Curtatone and the rest of the Board of Alderman honored the Somerville High School boys Hockey Team for winning the GBL Championship for the first time since 2001. Special mention was also given to team trainer, Michelle Kelly, for her assistance during the season.
Coaches and players were then presented with an official citation and received a photo op with Mayor Curtatone and Alderman Desmond. Somerville Patch also covered this event, publishing the picture featuring the team, coaches, and elected officials.
