It seems that the new development on Cedar Street went up faster than the Royal White laundry building came down! However, the project situated close to the Community Path Extension is nearing completion as siding and other outside work will commence this week-weather permitting.
This project was first presented to residents back in December of 2011.
I toured the new condos located at 181 Cedar Street yesterday with developer Jim Douglas. The six-unit complex features basement family rooms for the two first-floor units and bonus studies off of the galley kitchens for the second and third floor units.
There will be one affordable unit, as well, in the complex. Decks offer a nice outside space for future occupants. Price points have been rumored to be around $400K with the affordable unit priced under $200K.
