Around 50-60 people attended the Ward 5 ResiStat meeting on June 18th which touched on topics such as the City budget, crime, Somerville by Design and the Green Line Extension. Held at the Kennedy School this year, attendees braved the flash flood warnings to hear the latest data on Ward 5.
Decisions will be made tonight regarding the FY2014 budget. The Finance Committee will be holding a 6pm meeting to go through each line item with a Special Meeting, called by the Mayor, set for 8pm. Both meetings are open to the public and everyone is encouraged to attend.
