Beat the Heat!
Somerville has opened cooling centers to help residents beat the heat this week!
Ralph and Jenny Center, 9 New Washington St.—Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Holland Street Center, 167 Holland St.—Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The city wrote on their Facebook page, "High temperatures are predicted for the rest of the week, so please take precautions against heat-related injury and illness. The Red Cross has a lot of information on how to avoid heat issues and what to do if you or someone you're with needs medical attention: http://rdcrss.org/NC5VVd. The City has also opened cooling centers at the Ralph and Jenny Center; 9 New Washington Street, open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday; and the Holland Street Center; 167 Holland Street, open 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Please share this information and check on family, friends, and neighbors who may need assistance in the hot weather."

Thanks to Somerville for these! They help so much for some of us who don't have AC.
Thankfully they last until Thursday. I heard the heat will be gone by Thursday night.
