Loading Zone Approved for Magoun

A loading zone, located at 500 Medford Street in Magoun Square, was approved by the Traffic Commission on Wednesday June 26th. The loading zone will serve new businesses on the opposition side of the Square including K2 Beer and Wine, as well as, Modelo Butcher Market.

This loading zone, similar to all loading zones throughout the city, will feature hours of operation, allowing cars to park there after deliveries have been completed.

This is just one of many parking changes in Magoun. A 15-minute spot was added after the bus stop at Lowell and Medford was relocated to the edge of the Square. These changes were made to increase parking capacity in Magoun after new parking regulations took away parking opportunities on residential streets.
