Community Meeting on 231 Lowell Street Development Set for Monday December 30th


A community meeting on a residential development proposed for 231 Lowell Street has been scheduled for Monday December 30th at 6:30pm in the third floor Community Room of the VNA located at 259 Lowell Street. Abutters will be flyered on Monday (12/16) and Tuesday (12/17).

The developer, his attorney and the architect will be available to answer questions.

According to plans, 19 residential units are being proposed for the corner of Lowell and Woodbine that currently houses General Glass and Mirror. Plans for the site have been made available and published for review before the meeting.

This is the second development that's slated for the area as 235 Lowell Street has 6 units proposed for that location.

This looks awesome. That area of Lowell is pretty desolate at night and kind of awkward to walk through. This will bring some life to the streets. And hopefully, more foot traffic to Magoun Square businesses..
