City Sets Date for Annual Shape Up Somerville Road Race

The City of Somerville has set April 13th as the date for its 5th Annual Shape Up Somerville Road Race which will now feature a full 5K adult race increasing from previous year's 2.7 mile length.

As always, starting off the race will be a children's 1 mile fun run with all races beginning and ending on the City Hall concourse. The children's race starts at 10:30am, the adults at 11:30am.

Registration is open to all community members at a price of $5 for youth under age 10, and $20 for adults. Price includes a commemorative t-shirt, refreshments and a celebration immediately following the adult race. Adult runners are also invited to a post-race celebration.
