Olde Magoun Saloon's mac n' cheese with kielbasa is among one Boston.Com writer's list of 9 unique mac and cheese in Greater Boston. The article, at last check, was on the main page of the website.
Megan Colloton writes, "Olde Magoun’s Saloon’s mac-n-cheese takes penne pasta and smothers it with a creamy cheese sauce and buttery, crisped breadcrumbs. Although you have several options for toppings, the addition of kielbasa gives the dish just the right amount of smokiness. Don’t fret if you eat up all of the mac – use the side of toasted bread to sop up all of the extra cheesy sauce that’s left in the bottom of the skillet." She would go on to give a shout-out to Magoun's slider selection, as well.
Two other Somerville restaurants, Boston Burger Company and Five Horses Tavern, were also featured in the list that included a selection from Tavern in the Square and The Fireplace among others.
