Central Broadway/Winter Hill Roadway to be Discussed at Community Meeting

The Office of Strategic Planning and Community Development invite residents, business owners and concerned citizens to an informational meeting on the Central Broadway/Winter Hill Roadway and Streetscape improvements project.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday April 16th from 6:30-8:00 PM in the Winter Hill Community School Cafeteria located at 115 Sycamore Street.

According to the Somerville by Design webpage dedicated to the project, "We’ll start with an overview presentation to explain the project process, followed by an open house where you can view maps of the area, learn about preliminary site analysis, ask questions of our project team of engineers, landscape architects, and planners, and give feedback on what you see as the vision for the future of Central Broadway in Winter Hill."

Winter Hill is no stranger to community meetings as it was paired with Magoun Square and researched by students of the MIT Department of Urban Studies and Planning in the Fall and Winter of 2012. Two community meetings were held in October and December to gather feedback from attendees and to present their final recommendations. This presentation is now available on the Somerville by Design website.
