Spotted in Magoun Square was former Ward 7 Alderman Bob Trane driving through with Buddy and his beautiful wife, Nancy. Also spotted was former Ward 4 Alderman Walter Pero and his wife dining at Olde Magoun's Saloon.
It must be an election year as the amount of candidates attending meetings in the City has risen. Candidate for the 34th Middlesex District seat in the state House of Representatives, Christine Barber, stopped by the Winter Hill Community School for the recent Somerville By Design conversation on Winter Hill and the Central Broadway corridor.
One candidate, Craig Rourke, was out doing some doorknocking and wasn't too well received by a local activist who immediately took to her Facebook page to throw some jabs. This is looking like it will be an interesting race to watch.
