Weekend of Fun to Take Over Somerville!


This coming weekend will be packed with activities for everyone! Below is a list of events happening all over Somerville as part of the City's Weekend of Play!

Porchfest
Saturday, May 17, 12 – 6 p.m.

Musicians and bands – ranging from Bollywood funk, cosmic Americana, killer blues, Moroccan, Balkan, gospel, American space rock and clawhammer banjo – will serenade passersby from porches throughout Somerville.

Saturday, May 17 (afternoon)
· Parkour: Baxter Park (Assembly Square waterfront)
· Inflatable Go Cart course, Knucklebones activities: Morse-Kelley Playground (Craigie Street / Summer Street)
· Children’s sing-a-long with Liza Kitchell: Morse-Kelley Playground, 2 p.m.
· Children’s sing-a-long with Jeremy Lyons: Hodgkins-Curtin Playground (Holland Street), 2 .p.m.
· Imagination Playground: Lexington Park (Lexington Ave. / Commnity Path)

Sunday, May 18 (afternoon)
