Albion Park to Open Tomorrow!

After over a month of work, Albion Park will reopen tomorrow, June 19th at 8:00am!

The park, located on Albion Street between Lowell and Cedar, was closed on April 28th for renovations that included: a new concrete retaining wall at the grass slope; reducing the grades at the steep portions of the grass hill; new sod; repairs to the irrigation and drainage system; two new trees; tree and shrub pruning; and a new sealcoat surface at the water spray area, according to a press release issued by the City.

Mother Nature was certainly on her own schedule this Spring which caused delays in the project.

The park has become one of the most popular for residents and non-residents, but has been a spot for late night illegal activity in the past.
