The Legislative Matters Committee will host a meeting of the whole on Tuesday July 1st to discuss the two "Pay to Play" ordinances submitted by Mayor Joe Curtatone and, the other, submitted by Alderman At Large Bill White.
The meeting will begin at 6:30 PM inside the Aldermanic Chambers of City Hall.
Both pieces of legislation were submitted last year and have been discussed in committee since their May 23, 2013 submission date.
If ordained, how much money specific donors can contribute to candidates will be regulated. Needless to say, anyone interested in political office in Somerville should keep a keen eye on this.
