The Word Around The Ward

Albion Park is a sealcoat away from being ready for use! Mother Nature seems to be on her own schedule when it comes to rain and sun, so hopefully, she'll be in a good enough mood to allow the finish work to be completed. Maybe the new saying should be that June showers bring July playground hours?

Lowell Street will be the topic of discussion on June 25th at 6:00pm in the third floor community room of the Visiting Nurse's Association located at 259 Lowell Street. Considering this meeting is being hosted to discuss safety issues on Lowell Street, I would like to remind everyone to be careful when walking or driving to the VNA. A full notice will be published as we approach the date.

Just a reminder that the Boston Pride Parade will be starting off at 11am, starting at Boylston St and Clarendon St. From there it will turn right onto Clarendon St, turn left onto Tremont St, turn left onto Berkeley St, turn right onto Boylston St, turn left onto Charles St, turn right onto Beacon St, turn left onto Tremont St and arrive at City Hall Plaza on Cambridge St. Check out all the details here!

Celia and Tom Taylor are hosting a yard sale on Saturday June 21st from 10-4pm and Sunday the 22nd from 4 to 7. RAIN DATE for either day will be Monday the 23rd from 3 to 6. Please come down and support their effort to downsize! For more information on this or other events that you might find interesting, please check out the calendar!

As the new uniform trash carts are being...wait for it...rolled out this month, SomerBlog is asking us to log our trash usage, so they can collect the data and make adjustments to the program if necessary. You can fill out the Google Doc right on the website as you begin to use your new trash cart!
