The Board of Aldermen resume meetings in one week and have some pretty interesting topics on their plate including the Campaign Finance Reform Ordinance. Of course, Ward 5 Online will be there to bring the news to my readers.
The Somerville Fire Department will be flushing hydrants between August 18th and August 30th,Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. (evening hours of 6:15-8:15pm will be used if needed).
Be on the lookout for some great Fall events coming up for Magoun Square! They will be posted as details are finalized.
Somerville By Design will be holding the next community meeting on September 10th to discuss the Central Broadway Streetscape Improvements Project from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm at the Arthur D. Healey School, 5 Meacham Street in Somerville. The meeting will be held in the cafeteria. A full posting will be made as we approach the date.
