The much anticipated Float has announced their opening via an email to fans. They wrote, “After over a year and a half of planning, an exciting crowdfunding campaign, and a whole lot of blue paint, I am excited to announce that Float took its first customers last Thursday! And so far things are going well. There are a few hitches to work out, and we're hard at work fixing them. 514 Medford Street will be home to Magoun’s third hair salon. The new neighbor to Pennypackers had the windows open on Wednesday night revealing a pretty streamlined setup. Salon S already has signage up and hours posted.
As two new businesses are opening, two have shutdown. Magoun said goodbye to the Exotic Bird store last month and the tailor/dry cleaner has vacated their space, as well.
