The City will lift its snow emergency regulations effective at 6:00 p.m. this evening. Residents who had parked in municipal or school lots during the snow emergency MUST move their cars by 8:00 p.m. Cars still parked in city lots at that time may be subject to ticketing and towing, and this rule WILL be strictly enforced in order to allow crews to effectively plow all lots.
Residents are reminded that furniture, barrels, or other items left in parking spots will be treated as trash and disposed of. Sidewalks and walkways must be shoveled, or property owners may be subject to fines, in accordance with City ordinance.
