The first of two public hearings on the Community Preservation Act draft plan will be held at the West Somerville Neighborhood School (177 Powderhouse Blvd) on Wednesday May 7th at 7:00pm.
The City of Somerville, overwhelmingly, passed the measure in November of 2012 and a Committee was convened to draft a spending plan for the funds received by the City. The public will have two opportunities to voice their ideas on how CPA funds should be spent.
The second public hearing is scheduled for Monday May 12th at the East Somerville Community School (50 Cross Street) with a 7pm start time.
