Warren Goldstein-Gelb Benefit Event and Medical Fund

Just about every non-profit organization in Somerville has joined forces to organize a benefit for Warren Goldstein-Gelb, an outstanding member of the community, and director of the Welcome Project in Somerville. Warren suffered a debilitating stroke in September, and his recovery process has left a long trail of bills to pay by his family.

Since 2006 Warren has been the Executive Director of the Welcome Project, a non-profit organization that has been instrumental in helping thousands of immigrants reach their full potential through educational, leadership, and support programs. Part of their mission is to “build the collective power of Somerville immigrants to participate in and shape community decisions.” By directing the Welcome Project, Warren has been one of the leading forces to make Somerville the extraordinary community it is. Let’s all come together now to support his family during this difficult time!
